What a session looks like
Online tutoring is an interactive discussion where you can see me create pictures in real time. We can work through the broader ideas of a topic, and also more specific practice problems, past exams, or whatever you're stuck on. I use a combination of webcam and screensharing.
About me
I specialize in helping people build a strong foundation they can use to succeed in organic chemistry. It's also never too late — I've gone back to square one with students halfway through their second semester and helped them turn their grades around.
I've worked with students using every major textbook, and I'll make every effort to shape our time together around your specific class and learning style.

I have always really struggled with chemistry, especially organic. Matt was awesome to work with this semester. He could break down questions in a way that I could learn and understand mechanisms without having to memorize them. We meet over Zoom and I share my screen, using a drawing tablet to work through whatever you want to cover — midterms, practice problems, or the things you're stuck on.
